In Nuevo Casas Grandes, Armel and Gwendal had their last haircut, and shave before the USA. We kept the "bigote" since it was truely a case of "when in Rome..."

The El Berrendo - Antilope Wells NM. Crossing was very quiet. But we had 75km on each side without anything, no water, no food, just rattlers, roadrunners and coyotes

Our last stay with the Bomberos (fire dept.) in Nuevo Casas Grandes. All thoughout latin America the Hospitality and bonhomie has been amazing with the bomberos.

Dead Cows, dead dogs, dead cats, dead coyotes, dead donkeys, dead snakes, dead horses.... etc.... it is a constant and sometimes smelly reminder of the dangerous climate and the dangers that we face on the road.

It took us a little while to warm up to the idea of an open faced chicharron. But eventually in Nuevo Casas Grandes Tania bravely took the plunge! and reports that it was really good.
